Advance Passenger Information
The Videcom DCS has a comprehensive Advanced Passenger Information System which allows your airline to collect passport details from passengers and transmit them to the relevant authorities for your routes. Fully integrated into the core database passenger passports can be scanned and stored within seconds at the airport. The APIS module is also fully integrated with the online booking engine allowing your passengers to enter details online.
APIS Passenger Passport Details
APIS/APP passport entry
Advanced passenger information can be collected and stored in the system database. This can be enabled by the departure and arrival city allowing airlines to switch on and off depending on the route of that booking. The system will show the user if this information has already been collected or not. When selected the system will request the passenger to enter the following details:
- Passport number
- Country of Issue
- Citizenship
- Passport Expiry date
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Country of Residence
- For US route 1st Night Stay
If this information is required for the route the system will not allow the passengers to check-in online without first entering theses details. These details are then stored in the database ready for transmitting to the relevant authorities.
