Compliant with IATA Regulations and Protocols
GDS Eticketing (Eticket)
VRS has a built in IATA compliant eticketing database connected to all the major GDS systems. This allows you to connect immediately to all the systems you want to for interactive ticket sales through IATA bonded travel agents. Ticketed on your own ticket stock number you will receive payments through BSP (Bank Settlement Plan) for all tickets sold through the GDS.
Interline Eticketing (IET)
Connect to all your Interline Partners using our IATA standard Interline Eticketing connections with all other major airline hosting systems. We provide you with an unlimited number of Bi-lateral connections to other airline systems allowing you to receive bookings from other airlines as well as being able to book other airline segments from VRS.
Schedule Messaging
Keep your partner systems up to date with IATA standard SSM messages so that any changes you make to your flight schedules are mirrored in GDS, operational and other airline systems. As your schedule administration team make changes to your schedule the system automatically sends SSM messages to other systems which have been pre-configured within the system. SSM's can also be received from other systems to keep your availability up to date with other airline flight schedules.
Inventory Messaging
Send and receive AVS messages to and from other systems to syncronize your inventory levels. Availability Status messages are an important communications method used by airlines to exchange information regarding the number of seats available in each booking class (RBD/Revenue Booking Designator). VRS supports both AVS and NAVS (Numerical) as designated by IATA.
Passenger Name Records (PNR)
VRS stores all bookings within its database in standard IATA format (AIRIMP) to ensure compatibility with other airline systems. When bookings are made from one airline system to the other (or via a GDS) PNR's are exchanged in IATA format.
Departure Control
We send thousands of IATA standard PNL's and ADL's to 3rd party DCS systems everyday. Passenger Name Lists (PNL) configuration is set up when the flight schedule is created to be sent automatically at a pre-defined time prior to the flight. At that time the PNL of all passengers who are booked and ticketed is sent to all authorized recipients either via TTY message or Email. All major DCS systems are already receiving PNL's from VRS.
Revenue Accounting
Already built in and off the shelf to all our customers are IATA BSP HOT files for the export of sales and ticketing data to 3rd party revenue accounting systems.
