Flights are managed through a Schedule option under the Back Office options of the Client program. VRS allows schedules to be viewed for individual flights or a particular flight group. Existing flights are selected from the grid and then all details of that flight are displayed.

The user can amend an existing flight or create a new flight by entering details in this section. Details of the flight are entered starting with the 3 letter city code, the flight number and departure time.

Multi segment flights will require the same information including the arrival time, and then the final destination city. Other information such as the aircraft registration and booking classes are input here.



In the event of the flight schedule being changed where seats have already been sold, the system automatically updates the PNR's and puts them in a queue for the passengers to be advised.
